Is A Caramel Apple Latte Sweet?

A homemade caramel latte is certainly sweet and our recipe is super easy to make at home too.

You can control how sweet you make your latte by what you add to it as well.

Apple Juice Or Apple Cider- Which One To Pick?

Interestingly enough, there’s only a slight difference between apple juice and apple cider.

Apple cider is a raw form of apple juice. Think of apple cider being part one and apple juice being part two during an extraction system.

Both creations go through the process of taking fresh apples and extracting the juice into a container.

However, the next step is where they divide.

Apple juice is formed once all the pulp, sediment and other natural particulars are filtered out.

This typically leaves a bright, somewhat clear drink that can then be bottled up and left in the pantry for months.

Apple cider, on the other hand, does not go through that detailed of a filtration process.

Instead, on most store shelves you will see apple cider with a cloudy appearance because most of the pulp and natural particulars are still intact.

Because of the natural state apple cider is left in, it cannot hang out in the pantry for extended periods of time and must be consumed within weeks of opening.

Apples- Which Ones To Choose

Gala apples were used to make these Caramel Apple Spice Starbucks Copycat Drinks.

Gala apples give this drink its spicy-sweet flavor.

This ‘spiciness’ layers well with the distinct taste of the cider, giving the drink a well rounded crispness beneath the sugary layers.

Should you not have any Galas nearby, you can also use Empire or Cortland apples.

Gala, Empire, and Cortland apples also all have high Vitamin C counts too, which is what makes them a go-to choice for alleviating colds and the flu.
