How To Make The Disneyland Copycat Dole Whip 

1. In a food processor or blender, add the ice cream, pineapple juice, and pineapples and blend until fully incorporated.
2. Transfer mixture to a mason jar or other container for freezing. You can use a loaf pan or gallon freezer safe bag. Freeze 6 hours to overnight.
3. When ready to serve, remove from freezer to thaw for a bit, then use an ice cream scooper to serve or eat straight from container- we won’t judge!

Recipe Variations

Want to create a Dole Whip float? Simply fill a mason jar halfway with pineapple juice, followed by some of your favorite homemade Dole Whip, and top it off with a maraschino cherry. Sip and enjoy this fantastic float.

Fancy creating the dole whip swirl? You’ll need to freeze the mixture for about 30-40 minutes, then transfer it to a piping bag with a 1M “star” tip.

Not a fan of pineapple chunks? Then you could try different dole whip flavors. Pineapple is the iconic flavor but you could use the same method with different fruit flavors. Mango, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and apples could all work well. You’d easily create some delicious Dole Whip variations. • Make sure you are using a powerful blender. Pineapple isn’t the easiest to blend down to the consistency that you need to create the copycat dole whip recipe. 
• Ensure you give the recipe proper time for freezing. It needs at least six hours, but if you can, pop it in the freezer overnight. Properly freezing this treat will make it the perfect consistency. Trust us, it’s worth the wait.
• If you want to keep this genuine then you may want to stick with the traditional pineapple flavor. However, don’t be afraid to experiment and try different flavors. Disney is not the only place where you can enjoy this soft serve treat.

Storage

This is a recipe that requires freezing, so naturally, the best storage method is to leave it in the freezer. You can leave it in the container or bag you chose to freeze it in or transfer it to another bag or air-tight container to leave frozen until you need it. You can also use a mason jar or any other airtight container and freeze it for up to 3-6 months.

Remove the treat and let it sit at room temperature to thaw for a bit until it reaches your desired consistency.
