How To Make The Peanut Butter S’mores Pie
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter in a small mixing bowl, until it is a crumbly mixture.
- Use a spoon to transfer some of the graham cracker mixture into the mason jars and use clean fingers to press the crumbs into the bottom of each jar and set aside.
- Use a saucepan or pot, and pour the heavy cream, milk, vanilla, and sugar in and use a whisk or hand mixer to mix.
- Turn stove to medium hot and bring mixture to a boil, stirring every few minutes.
- While waiting for that to boil, in a separate medium bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, whisk the eggs.
- Temper about ¼ cup of the heated milk mixture into the whisked eggs by slowly pouring the milk into the eggs and stir constantly until eggs and milk are completely combined and warm throughout.
- Decrease the heat and let the milk mixture come down to a simmer.
- Stir constantly while you add the tempered egg mixture into the saucepan.
- Keep stirring until the cream mixture thickens and then remove it from the heat.
- Add peanut butter cups to a large bowl and pour the thickened mixture on top.
- Let it sit for one minute to allow the chocolates to start melting in the bowl.
- Whisk together to completely melt the peanut butter chocolate cups and to create a slightly thick and emulsified peanut butter pie filling.
- Transfer the peanut butter filling into the mason jars, ¾ of the way full by spooning it into each jar or using a piping bag filled with the peanut butter filling with the tip snipped.
- Place the jars in the refrigerator for 1.5 to 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit on broil, or you can use a Butane Torch.
- Spoon the marshmallow creme on top and fill each mason jar to the brim.
- Add 8 mini marshmallows on top of the marshmallow creme.
- Use a butane torch or the oven for 5-10 minutes, to lightly brown the tops of the marshmallows.

Recipe Variations
Can I use Reese’s Butternut Cups? Any peanut butter cups will be ine but if you like to use Reese’s cups then that is absolutely fine. We all have our personal favorites.
Want to make an adult version? Why not try adding a little alcohol to the peanut butter mixture? Flavored vodka works really well. Yum!
Can I make one big pie? Absolutely! You could use a pie tin or something like a 9-inch pie pan and follow the instructions but just for one large pie.
Use peanut butter cookies instead. If you want extra peanut butter flavor then you can use cookies to create a crunchy crust.

Tips & Tricks
- This S’mores Pie can be a no-bake recipe if you have a torch to brown the tops of your s’mores jars instead of using an oven.
- Be careful, the peanut butter takes a little while to melt and then get blended in the mixture. Be patient with the peanut butter filling to melt the chocolate and peanut butter. The peanut butter will take slightly longer to melt and blend than the rest of the chocolate around the peanut butter.
Storage
If you have any leftovers then let them cool completely and store leftovers in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. If you want the pies warm you can reheat them in the oven.
FAQ
What makes a S’mores pie?
The main element of S’mores is the biscuit or cracker, the chocolate chunk, and the marshmallow. You combine the toasted marshmallow and create a sandwich with the graham crackers and the chocolate. This pie brings all those elements together in one amazing dessert.

What can I serve with the pies?
You can enjoy them as they are but you could also add a scoop of softened ice cream. We like adding chocolate chunk ice cream as it really gives it that extra flavor. You could also serve any of these tasty homemade ice cream:
- Red Velvet Ice Cream
- Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream
- Butter Pecan Ice Cream
- Neopolitan Ice Cream
