Pumpkin Ginger Snap Frappuccino Recipe

Pumpkin Ginger Snap Frappuccino Recipe

Pumpkin Ginger Snap Frappuccinos are the epitome of dessert in a glass. With a dash of crumbled gingersnaps laying atop a blend of fresh pumpkin and whipped espresso cream, this hot treat is simply divine! And a HUGE fall favorite!

If you’re a beginner to the world of Frappuccino, then our Pumpkin Gingersnap Frappuccino in Mason Jars are the best for newbies!

The smoothness of the pumpkin ice cream blended with crumbled ginger is a delicious initiation into ice coffee.

The iced coffee craze began in the mid-90s. However, it quickly revamped into a cultural norm for college kids, tech gurus, and now every day 9 to 5’ers.

Although the pumpkin and gingersnaps give you enough spice to be satisfied, it’s the touch of cinnamon that does it for me.

That pinch of cinnamon tones down the tang of ginger just enough that it really does feel like you’re drinking a dessert! Either I have a blast creating these, and at a max prep time of 10 minutes, I know you will enjoy them too.

What Are Ginger Snap Frappucinos

Gingersnap Fraps used to be a Secret Menu Starbucks item only. They were one of the ones that you had to hope the Barista’s knew how to make, otherwise, you were standing there telling them how to make it or pulling it up on your phone so they can write all the info on the cups.

We took the classic Gingersnap Frap and gave it an extra fall flavored twist, to create the Pumpkin Gringersnap Frap.

Gingersnap and Pumpkin Frappuccino Ingredients

Looking for the ingredients to give these a try? Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Pumpkin ice cream
  • Ginger snap cookies
  • Milk – See our variation suggestions below
  • Espresso (optional) – but recommended if you’re a caffeine lover
  • Cinnamon
  • Whipped Cream – for a dairy free/vegan option try cocowhip or almond milk whipped cream.

What Is A Frappuccino?

If you are a big fan of iced coffee then at some point you’ve tried Frappuccino.

Introduced in 1994 by The Coffee Connection (later purchased by Starbucks), these little sips of milk, cream, and coffee heaven pack a powerful punch!

Frappuccinos have evolved from their original ingredient trio to now include syrups, spices, and even liquours!

They’re a coffee lover’s playground if you like to experiment with exotic flavors and whip cream mixes.

Yet, it’s deemed a powerful punch because Frappuccino can have as much as 200 mg of caffeine per 12 fl oz! This means that your gourmet dessert coffee is more than just a cute arrangement of swirls and milk- it’s an energy superhero!

Pumpkin Gingersnap Frap Recipe Variations

  • Leave out the pumpkin ice cream for a classic Gingersnap Frap.
  • Substitute the pumpkin ice cream for your other favorite fall flavor. Think apple pie ice cream or pumpkin spice ice cream.
  • Substitute your regular milk with half and half, almond milk, coconut milk, whole milk, skim milk, or oat milk.
  • Instead of Pumpkin Ice Cream, try pumpkin pie filling or pumpkin puree with vanilla ice cream as a base.

Do You Need The Homemade Cinnamon Espresso Whipped Cream?

Absolutely you do! This homemade flavored whipped cream recipe really adds a nice touch to the Pumpkin Ginger snap cookie Frappuccino drink.

Can You Make This Frappuccino Ahead Of Time?

We don’t recommend making this recipe ahead of time. With the nature of using ice cream in it, and blending all your ingredients together, you have a higher risk of everything melting faster.

So, wait to make this until you’re ready to enjoy it!
