How To Make This Strawberry Agua Fresca Recipe 

  1. Add the strawberries, water, sweetener of choice, and lime juice to the blender. 
  2. Blend on high until smooth, 1-2 minutes, depending on your blender.
  3. Taste for sweetness and add more sweetener if desired. Blend again for a few seconds if you add more sweetener. 
  4. Strain through a fine mesh strainer if desired. 
  5. Pour into a glass filled with ice and garnish with fresh strawberries and lime slices if desired.

Storage

This delicious strawberry freeze is best enjoyed right away. However, you can store the leftovers in a mason jar with the lid in the fridge for up to three days.

We do recommend if you are storing it for later to not add the additional ice cubes to your glass.

Watermelon Agua Fresca:  Switch out the strawberries for watermelon if you prefer a watermelon flavor to this simple recipe. 

Creamy Strawberry Agua Fresca:  If you prefer a creamy touch to this fruity drink, add 1/2 cup of coconut milk or condensed milk to the blender when you are making it.

  • A high-powdered blender like a Ninja or Vitamin is best for this easy recipe. However, if you have a different blender you can use that instead it may just take longer to crush the ice. 
  • It’s important that you use cold water instead of warm so that you don’t melt the ice when making this delicious drink. 
  • You can use any type of sweetener for this drink recipe. I like to use brown sugar, granulated sugar, or agave nectar when I make this great recipe. 
  • For an extra flare to your drink, you rim the glass with coconut sugar, and top with your favorite tropical fruits or even hibiscus flowers.
