How To Make The Strawberry Kiss Cookies

  1. Gather all of the ingredients together ready to start. Get yourself a large bowl, and mix together the dry strawberry cake mix, butter, and egg. Make sure everything is well combined.
  2. You will then want to combine the cream cheese with the cake mixture until everything is smooth and incorporated. You could use an electric mixer for this. Make sure the cream cheese has softened.
  3. Chill the cookie dough for at least one hour in the refrigerator. Once done, preheat the oven to 350°F, and line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Start to prepare your Hershey’s kisses by removing the wrappers. Get a small bowl and add the sanding sugar to it in preparation.
  4. Once the dough is chilled, roll the cookies into tablespoon-sized balls. You could use a cookie scoop for this if you wish. Then roll the balls in the sanding sugar.
  5. Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes. Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for about 2 minutes before you place a chocolate kiss into the center of the cookie. Once all cookies have a chocolate kiss placed on to them transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool.
  6. Once the cookies have cooled you can enjoy munching on them with your favorite people. Yum! Keep them in an air-tight container like a mason jar.
