How To Make The White Chocolate Champagne Cake Jars
- One of the first things to do would be to gather up all of your ingredients and then set your cupcakes to one side. Pour the champagne and the sugar into your pan and put it on medium heat.
- As the mixture starts to warm up, slowly stir until you dissolve the sugar. You will want to let it come to a boil, and then turn the heat down so that it simmers and reduces. This should take about 10-12 minutes.
- Take the syrup off the heat and give it time cool. Once the mixture has cooled, place it in a small bowl or bottle and set it to one side.
- Get your white chocolate chips and melt them in the microwave. You can do this in 30-second bursts and stir the chocolate each time. This allows the chocolate to melt and stops it from burning or splitting.
- Place the melted chocolate to the side to let it come to room temperature. It shouldn’t take any longer than 5 minutes.
- The next step is to put your butter into a large bowl and whisk it on medium speed with your electric mixer until it has become soft, light and fluffy.
- Add in your melted white chocolate and fold it into the butter mixture with your offset spatula.
- Then you will want to add your powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy whipping cream and mix all of these ingredients together. You can use an electric or hand mixer for this at a medium-high speed. Make sure everything is combined and fluffy. .
- The last step is to add your champagne syrup. You will want to add around half a tablespoon. If you want more of a champagne flavor then add a little more. This is down to taste preference. Mix everything slowly until everything is combined and smooth just like frosting.
- Now that your frosting is ready you can add it to a piping bag and secure the end with your chosen piping tool.
- Now it is time to assemble the white chocolate champagne cake jars. Get your jars and cupcakes and the remainder of the champagne syrup and chosen decorations.
- Place half of a cupcake in the jar and drizzle some Champagne syrup on top of the cake.
- Then pipe some frosting over the cupcake. You can then add some edible gold glitter and sprinkles.
- Add the remaining half of the cupcake to the jar and drizzle more syrup on the rest of the cake, and finish by piping some more white chocolate buttercream. Sprinkle the glitter and sprinkles over the frosting.
- There you have it, your white chocolate champagne cake jars. Enjoy!
