  • 15 oz can garbanzo beans chickpeas, drained, or homemade
  • 2 ounces roasted red bell pepper - home roasted or jarred
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • Garnish with chives paprika, cracked pepper


  • Add beans, roasted peppers, cumin, lemon, salt, tahini, and garlic to your blender and blend well.
  • Then, add some olive oil and blend until smooth.
  • Serve with vegetables, warm pita bread, pita chips, carrot sticks, or other dippables.
